- Advocate for the expansion of the Iowa Mental Health Parity Bill and other legislation
- Co-hosted legislative caucuses at the State Capitol (2009 & 2010)
- Co-sponsored the First and Second Tri-State Veterans’ All the Way Home Conferences (2008 & 2010)
- Co-published the Mental Health and Substance Abuse Service Guide
- Sponsored the “Living to Eat—Well” conference (2010)
- Co-hosted the Second and Third Annual Mental Health Awareness conferences (2009 & 2010)
