  • Participate in the Mental Health/Substance Abuse Envision Task Force to promote access to services
  • Advocate for the expansion of the Iowa Mental Health Parity Bill and other legislation
  • Co-hosted legislative caucuses at the State Capitol (2009 & 2010)
  • Co-sponsored the First and Second Tri-State Veterans’ All the Way Home Conferences (2008 & 2010)
  • Co-published the Mental Health and Substance Abuse Service Guide
  • Sponsored the “Living to Eat—Well” conference (2010)
  • Co-hosted the Second and Third Annual Mental Health Awareness conferences (2009 & 2010)
  • Awarded scholarships (2009 & 2010)
  • Co-published the Returning Veterans’ Gide to Mental Health Services
